Willie Madrid is our Softball & hitting coach - He is currently the Head Softball Coach at Mission College in Santa Clara, CA.
Willie has been coaching fastpitch softball at the high school level and competitive travel ball for over 25 years. While coaching high schools, he has managed to simultaneously coach his travel teams in ASA softball competition. With 25 years of coaching student athletes, He brought a wealth of experience with him to Mission College when he joined the Saints coaching staff in 2009, after two seasons as an assistant coach at West Valley College. He’s been instrumental in helping student athletes play at the next level such as DI, DII Colleges. He has had remarkable success at each level of coaching. However, he considers the recognition, not to be the many wins, but the many players that he has helped to develop into quality athletes as well as responsible student athletes.
